Sales Team Tracking App
Project Scope:
For this project I was tasked with mapping out an application that allowed sales managers to track and communicate with their sales teams. The application would allow each individual salesperson to track themselves on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, based on the goals that they selected. It would display daily, monthly and weekly reminders of where they were and how much time was left to hit the goals by the appropriate time. The system would also incorporate a CRM system that would allow easy access to prospects, referrals and previous clients. The final feature would incorporate an accountability system that would automatically report the salesperson’s numbers and activity to the sales manager in real time. The sales manager would see aggregated information from the sales team and get real-time feedback on where the agency was as a whole.
Method:
To develop solutions I used the following skills: requirements gathering, basic wireframing, information architecture, work-flow studies and usability testing. To start, I met with actual user’s to determine the requirements and features that were absolutely necessary for the product. Once I had all pertinent information, I put together an information structure on paper and began developing basic interactive wireframes. I also returned to the client to conduct usability tests on numerous occasions. These tests gathered the proper information and gave the team targeted direction. Overall, the client was pleased and the product was a success.
